Why they choose it to be yellow I have no idea. But those of us who’ve been painfully waiting for Ford’s latest redesigned vehicle will be awarded soon enough. The 2012 Ford Focus will hit your local Dayton Ford dealer showrooms in early January.

The all-new 2012 Ford Focus is slated to shake up the compact car segment when it debuts early next year with some of the best fuel-efficiency numbers in its class, but it’s already clear there will be at least one similarly sized vehicle that will boast better mpg ratings: The 2012 Ford Focus Electric. Packing an advanced liquid-cooled battery pack, the Focus Electric is expected to deliver up to 100 miles of all-electric, emissions-free driving on just a single charge.
Those are impressive specs that should have customers flocking to Ford dealerships when the Focus Electric debuts late next year, and the Blue Oval is hard at work preparing for that high demand. For example, Ford engineers recently unveiled a unique, Ford-only convenience cord that will work with both 120V and 240V charging solutions
Ford Focus Coupe Concept To Debut In Detroit
The Detroit Auto Show is just around the corner and already rumors suggest that Ford will add yet another bodystyle to the 2012 Focus lineup. In addition to a hatchback, sedan, and wagon, Ford will bring a coupe to the January show. Although this Focus Coupe will debut as a concept, AutoExpress reports that the design will be inspired by the European Capri model and will share components with the new Focus ST. This means it could even get the ST’s 237 horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter EcoBoost four cylinder engine or even its torque vectoring system.

2012 Ford Focus Makes Debut At Paris Motor Show
Although the Fiesta hasn’t been in showrooms for long, it’s clear that Ford has a hit on their hands. Now, the Blue Oval is preparing to launch the 2012 Focus, a vehicle that will likely be another stunning success. The all-new 2012 Ford Focus is currently being shown off for European consumers at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, but it will reach U.S. showrooms next year for a price of just $16,270 for the base S sedan. Like the aforementioned Fiesta, the new Focus is a global car that will be sold in numerous markets around the world. It’s also going to be available as both a hatchback and sedan model.
