REPORT: Ford investing $600M in Louisville plant for next-gen Escape

Auto Blog reports Ford Motor Company is investing $600m in it’s Louisville plant gearing it up for the the redesigned Escape. Many believe the escape will adopt the look of it’s global cousin the Ford Kuga. Some even go as far to say Ford will drop the Escape badge for the more familiar (globally) Kuga name.

Ford is keeping their lips sealed on the details but many believe Ford dealers will see the new Escape/Kuga in late 2012, early 2013.
